What do you get when you merge the world’s biggest poker company (PartyPoker.com) with Europe’s biggest sportsbook company (Bwin.com)? You get bwin.party and as expected, you get the safest and most reputable place to bet on sports anywhere in the world.

Bonuses, 9.1 – Not the most generous bonus shop in town, but certainly very competitive, especially as regards poker and casino. The signup deposit bonus is 25 pounds, roughly $50 CDN, and it’s easy to understand – sign up, deposit, within a few days, you receive that bonus. There are plenty of poker bonuses to encourage even the most seasoned player and there are refer-a-friend bonuses which are generous.

Customer Service, 9.2 – Toll-free phone numbers from around the world and live chat and email forms put customers in easy contact with customer service reps at this gigantic company. You are guaranteed to receive professional, courteous attention to your questions and comments. There is a large, well-organized FAQ section divided into sports, casino, poker, games and payment categories. If you don’t find an answer there, it’s easy to get someone ‘real’ to talk to.

Website , 9.2 – Professionally done, but could use some additional work in tailoring the experience for Canadian visitors? What does that mean? Hockey, NBA and NFL are far more appealing to Canadian bettors than Italian League soccer (Bwin sponsors the entire second division in Italy by the way!) and the copy and imagery should reflect this better. There is also the issue common with most European operators that the language and slang is very different (bet coupons, payments in Euros etc). As they move more fully to embrace overseas players, we expect this will improve and the website will become far more engaging and relevant for Canadian visitors.
