When you think of sports betting, it only makes sense that you think SPORTSBETTING.ag. Longevity, easy navigation, but some hiccups in 2010 have raised concerns.

Bonuses, 8.8 – Standard 10% signup bonus jumped to 25% during 2009 NFL season. There are modest reload bonuses as well. Low-juice NFL Fridays (you pay less for the same bet than you pay any other day of the week) is a quality offering and a favorite of customers.

Customer Service, 8.7 – Separated from parent Sportsbook.com customer support back in 07 and there were some predicted lags, but it has improved since then. Some slow-pay issues cropped up in forums dating to 2007-2008 but not much of note since then, indicating they have things smoothed out. Live Help is basic.

Odds variety, 9.1 – Providing the World Gaming platform equals an excellent array of sports odds as well as unique props. Adjusted MLB run lines, fun props like total team pitches thrown per inning and betting on which team will win a particular inning are fun. More than enough bet types to keep customers engaged.

Overall Experience, 8.6 – Site was overhauled in 2009, but it is still not a top-notch visual and navigation experience. Still, the platform works and customers have grown comfortable with it. Casino, poker and horse offering make it a complete gaming shop. Contests (some with $1M grand prizes for perfect brackets) add to the overall experience.

Payment Solutions, 8.8 – SportsBetting.com had always managed to effectively offer VISA, MC and money transfer as well as wires and cashier cheques (for winnings payouts). Success rates have been consistently good, experienced significant issues in 2010.

Reputation, 8.6 – In the space for more than a decade is proof this is no fly-by-night operations and its excellent domain ensures many new clients will find them. No major issues in their past usually foretells of smooth operations in the future. Their name experienced some dulling with changes from the .com suffix in 2011 and by reports of vendor payment issues in 2010.

Software, 8.9 – Sharing the WorldGaming sports platform, it lacks flash and pizzazz but it has also proven its value as a stable provider for many of the best online sportsbooks. Poker runs on Cake, casino is on RTG, again all worthy and well-oiled gaming machines.

Stability/License, 8.8 – License #5536/JAZ from the Netherlands Antilles Gaming Commission was awarded to SportsBetting.com (a license holder since 1998 under Reuben Enterprises Ltd.) Curacao is on the UK regulatory White List for top online sportsbooks and the experience of TopSportsbooks.ca member companies has been consistently positive.

TSB Experience, 8.8 – * Downgraded .6 March 2011 over vendor payment issues. Members of TopSportsbooks.com have dealt with this company in managing odds feeds and other technical areas. Management had been responsive, payments were usually timely. Contracts had been honoured but some confusions and issues in 2010 sullied some of the good brand equity and respect sportsbetting had built up over the years.

Website , 8.8 – A few design improvements didn’t vault this to the top of any design categories but it works. The tagline ‘Sports betting made simple and secure’ is a truthful mantra. However, the movement from channel to channel is not slick and they would do well to work on this. But overall, what you see is what you get.
