One of the best and most attractive websites pulls customers into a terrific odds and gaming experience. But some Canadians are still leery of some past actions from prior ownership.

Bonuses, 9.2 – New management actually reduced signup and reload bonuses as the company was known in the past for offering excessive bonuses and then tricking players with fine print. They changed that policy in 2010 with bonuses up to $200 free on a 100% deposit. Known for offering unique event bonuses (like $44 free on $44 deposit to celebrate Super Bowl XLIV).

Customer Service, 8.8 – * Upgraded .2 in 2011. A renewed focus in this area is a welcome change and improvement from the ‘old days.’ We like the LiveChat tool and FAQ/Knowledge Base database and no longer are sportsbook review forums rife with complaints. New management continues to spit-shine the reputation and improve relations with players.

Odds variety, 9.2 – Terrific odds variety and an improving live betting product that mainly focused on soccer. All the odds you’d expect, plus unique odds on minor league baseball teams and lesser-known sports. All in all, this offers all you will need.

Overall Experience, 9.0 – The website was always a shining beacon of professionalism even when the people behind were not. Today a polished site is a gateway to a terrific overall experience. All possible gaming options are available and there is usually a celebrity endorser greeting visitors (Jim Kelly in the past, Trish Stratus in recent years). Stats and scores packages covers all the important areas for do-it-yourself handicappers.

Payment Solutions, 8.8 – Slow play complaints had dogged SportsInteraction in the past, but new management has muted that with better standards and processes.

Reputation, 8.8  – * Upgraded .2 in 2011. Among the first online sportsbooks to take root, it has been doing business since 1997 and domiciled Kahnawake First Nation outside Montreal. It had a lot of work to do to repair its image and to its credit has made great strides. Upgraded in 2011 as this process continues to make headway and re-establish the brand as one of trust.

Software, 8.8 – Proprietary software built and maintained by teams of engineers on-site and in Gibralltar ensure a safe and secure experience. It is unique and effective.

Stability/License, 8.8 – – Licensed by the respected Kahnawake Gaming Commission, SportsInteraction has been governed by the same license near Montreal throughout its history. Legacy issues continue to haunt here, but renewed focus and effort on customer satisfaction is ridding those ghosts and elevating SIA among the elite books.

TSB Experience, 8.9 – * Upgraded .2 in 2011. Some past dealings with marketing firms associated with SIA were unsatisfactory for TopSportsbooks.ca member firms. In recent years, more vendor relationship have been struck and all have been governed by professionalism, timely payments. Hiring of several trusted industry veterans in 2009 will also help the process and this continues into the future.

Website , 9.4 – One of the industry’s best websites isn’t just a pretty face. The flash and design on the front are superb and the channel links and signup offers are clearly and stylishly appointed. Again, all the channels, perks and content that Canadians have come to expect on top sites are here.
