Reduced Juice Sportsbooks
If you're a weekly NFL bettor having an account at a sportsbook that offers reduced juice is a must. If you're unfamiliar with what reduced juice then your bankroll hasn't been growing as fast as it should be.
Reduced juice refers to when the books offers a lower commission on your bets, which in turns allows you to win more profits on your winning wagers. Two of our preferred books that offer reduced juice are Pinnacle Sportsbook and 5Dimes. Whereas most books will offer you a line of -110 of most NFL spread and total bets at Pinnacle and 5Dimes those same spread and totals bets on the very same games come with a line of -104 or -105.
A difference of 5 or 6 on the line may not seem like much but it definitely adds up over the long run. Let's do some math to see. During the 17-week NFL season you have wagered $1000 per game on five game per week. That's a total of 85 wagers. Let's say you've had a very good season and won 50 of your bets and lost 35 of them. Using the standard -110 line your winning wagers would total 50,000 and your losing wagers would total 38,500 for a net profit of 11,500. If you had made the same wagers at 5Dimes using a -105 line your winning wagers would pay 50,000, but your losing wagers would be 36,750 for a net profit of 13,250. That's a difference of 1,750 in your pocket even though you made the exact same wagers.
Even if you're not betting $1000 a pop betting with reduced juice still makes a big difference in your profit margins throughout the season. Make sure you're not short changing yourself by betting with reduced juice as often as you can.
